Why exfoliate?
Exfoliating the skin is important for a number of reasons.
As we age, the dead skin sloughs off more slowly; it can trap oil and lead to whiteheads and breakouts. After exfoliating, your skin care products will penetrate deeper and your make-up will go on smoother fora more flawless look. Pigmentation, pores and scarring will also improve with variousexfoliation techniques. There are many options, from gentle to intense. Each has pros & cons. Ask your skin care specialist for guidance based on your skin type, lifestyle, and budget.

• PCA Gentle Exfoliating Scrub
• DNA Sal-Glycolic Scrub Pads
• Light Enzyme Mask with Steam
• Included with all facials
• Light, blended "No Downtime" Peel
• Stand-alone procedure or an add-on to a facial
• This is also known as the "Instant Glow" or "Party Peel" peel
• Sal-gel Peel for clearing up blemishes
• May result in minor flaking
• DNA "Flash" Jessner
• Will result in minor flaking
• A cocktail of natural acids stimulate collagen synthesis
• Microdermabrasion with Crystals
• Uses aluminum oxide crystals and vacuum suction
• Not suitable for Rosacea or active acne lesions
• Vibradermabrasion & Vibrafusion
• Client-specific paddles prevent cross contamination
• Paddles gently remove 75-85% of the stratum corneum
• Paddles then infuse serums deep into the skin
• Enhanced Jessner's Peel
• with and without Hydroquinone available

• Clients must prep for 1 week with a PCA Pigment Solutions Kit
• Involves no true "downtime"
• Solution remains on the skin for 12 hours
• Client must not wet the skin for 6 hours
• Skin may slough for a week to 10 days
• Dark spots can darken as they are drawn up
• Skin may then flake and/or slough for a few days
• Prolonged sun exposure must be avoided for 2 weeks
• Post-peel products must be used for optimum results
• The full effect may not be noticed for up to 4-6 weeks
