Unlike injectable collagen filler that is made of bovine protein and can cause an allergic reaction in some patients, Restylane and Perlane are natural substances, hyaluronic acid, which is a sugar molecule already present naturally in the human body. What is the difference between Restylane and Perlane?
Perlane and Restylane can be used in combination with each other. Restylane Fine Lines can be used for thin, superficial lines, for example around the eyes, around the mouth and on the forehead. What is the treatment like?
Restylane or Perlane can be injected in small amounts under your skin to fill creases, lines, wrinkles or folds. It is also injected around the lip area to create volume, resulting in a more youthful appearance. A skin test is not necessary prior to treatment, so treatment can be performed at any time. In order to optimize your comfort, the treatment area may be anesthetized with a topical cream or anesthetic block. Treatment results are immediately evident.

What can I expect following treatment?
You can resume normal activities following treatment. The most commonly reported side effect has been redness and swelling at the injection site. How long do the results last?
